Importing from all over the world we have built fantastic relationships with our manufacturers out of New Zealand, Italy & China.

We are National Distributors for Prolux Lighting and similarly with TLI Lighting, which gives us enormous advantage on price and monitoring quality. We then work as agents for other manufacturers who excel in there ranges such as ‘Brightgreen, Seaside Lighting & Hunza Lighting.
Dealing mainly in residential & commercial lighting applications, we can offer an enormous range (indoor & outdoor) that will fit your budget and exceed your expectations.

Meet the team below.

Tom became director in 2016 after joining TLI in 2009. Being the main communication between our suppliers, Tom has built a range of products suitable for almost any application. He’s committed to building long term relationships in the industry and knows that great service & a quality product is a good place to start. Mainly looking after our commercial clients and larger projects, Tom still enjoys getting involved with our residential clients aswell and assisting James where he needs him.

James joined TLI in 2017 after finishing a degree in Architecture. With a background in Interior
Architecture aswell, James works closely with our Architects & Interior Designers. As our ‘jack of all
trades’ in the business after doing 2 years as an electrical apprentice, he has a great understanding
of how a project goes together. Being a perfectionist himself, every little detail matters and he’s
passionate about completing a job properly. James looks after all of our residential projects both
internal & landscape, he’s a very big part of the team and much loved by our clients.

Pete founded The Light Impact in 1989 and has had great pleasure watching his two sons get more involved in the company over the past years. Slowly transitioning out of his director’s role since 2013, Pete now looks after the accounts at TLI. With a wealth of knowledge in the industry and lasting relationships of 30 + years, he’s still very valuable part of the business.
Meg joined TLI in 2021 bringing with her a fresh perspective and revitalising energy in to the office and onsite. Coming from a background in communications and people engagement, she looks after the TLI marketing and social media.
